My name is Lauren Dagle, I am currently a student at Grand Canyon University. I am studying Graphic design. I received my Associates of Arts through South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia Washington; I also have a 2-year technical Transfer Degree from Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood Washington. I have always had a strong love for art. I loved drawing and going to museums, watching videos of people creating masterpieces. I wanted to pursue a job in the art field and was looking at some possible options and ended up falling in love with graphic design while attending a seminar at the Cornish College of Arts. A professor from a university in Portland opened my eyes up and expanded my options. Ever since I have been pursuing a degree in graphic design. I am a very work driven student, who loves exploring and designing new things. I do not know what I would like to specialize in, but I know I’m leaning more towards the illustration and Advertisement side of it. I am the type of person who is drawn to items in a store because they have a visually pleasing design, logo, or packaging. Starting out I would love to work for a bigger company to be able to build my knowledge and to experiment with different projects to find out what suits me best.
